Supporting Firefox Support

As you might have already read on JT’s blog, we’re in the process of creating an entirely new customer support section on Mozilla.com. It’s a pretty ambitious undertaking, and like all Mozilla projects, it will be extremely community-driven…there are plenty of opportunities to get involved if you’re interested.

We worked with Henry Brown on the design, and he did a nice job of maintaining the existing Mozilla.com style while also adding some elements that are unique to the support section. Since the overall project goal is to offer Firefox help to our less technically adept users, we wanted the design to be very clean and inviting (while also emphasizing the ‘get involved’ community aspect).

There’s still a lot of work to be done before the site goes live, but here are a couple of screen shots as a sneak peak (keep in mind that a lot of the specific content shown here is just placeholder).
