“The cake on the right must be toxic after 2 years”
.. this is like what they do with wedding cakes, right?
We ate ours after two years and it was still eatable.
Anyway, congrats with the release!

When the IE team releases IE 8, you should send them a cake with a picture of the smiley face from Acid 2, with a note saying “Thank you for supporting web standards!” (yes, I know they don’t support all web standards, but they are moving in the right direction)

Firefox cake…
Internet explorer team has sent the mozilla browser team a cake to join the celebration of the Firefox 3 release.
It seems that Firefox has been downloaded around 8 million times within last 24 hours.
IE team had sent a cake last year too, on release…

The newer cake does look a lot better than the older cake but is much more bland as more time was spent on appearance than functionality.

“Congratulations on…” WHAT?!?! “Stripping”?!?!
Jokes aside, it’s nice to see that the IE7 guys have a good sense of humour. I wonder what Mozilla will send them when IE8 is released.
Congrats on a great browser Mozilla. Love you guys!

Makes me wonder: if you guys would send a cake to the IE team, would you send the recipe (as in: source code) with it too? Or maybe with extra packages of sprinkles or something, so they can customize it themselves too.

I would advise to keep this ‘cake’patient in continuos form of hybernation at a very low freezing levelpoint for an extended long period of time! Caution is at place, it might be dangerous to your health. You’ll never know with those ‘alien’folks from the planet Redmond!!
