Kind of an unusual look. It really reminds me of the currency of some countries. Not saying it looks bad, in fact I rather like it. But I’m not so sure it really fits for MM. As a suggestion, though, I’d make the download link stick out more. Making it blue like the Thunderbird logo would probably work well.

I love how it ties in with mozilla.com’s visual identity – I think it might even be sleeker and more stylish. I’m not a fan of Mozilla Messaging using the Thunderbird logo for its favicon though (I know it’s its only real product but it somehow seems out of place to me still).
