Isn't wonderful when how an "evolutionary" process comes together (pardon the Jurassic pun)? In stark contrast to JAAP's post, I believe the first round of logo designs was a resounding success; regardless of whether we measure by the A) exciting final outcome, B) community involvement, and/or C) openness of Mozilla to invite a creative community - namely us - to contribute to the greater good of a browser we're passionate about.

Looking forward to more...also rather dug DRIA's insight.

Right now the crest has two paintbrushes -- maybe change one of them to a tablet pen to reflect the more-than-likely 100% digital nature of the majority of the contributions? :)

Also the three burst-like lines at each end of "creative collective" that point outwards -- those could be pencils or something. Right now they're just filler, sort of, when they could contribute to the overall theme and impact.

Finally, it feels like it could use some red at the bottom centre -- below the "creative collective" banner -- just to balance out the colour distribution. Right now all the colour bits are above the banner, and the one on black feels vaguely top-heavy (but oddly, not the one on white...not sure why that's the case).

I hope you do these up as embroidered patches for laptop bags or jackets. That would be seriously sweet :)

Glad you guys are going for the best one of the bunch. I still have to wonder what the outcome would have been if it wasn't for the (no offense) disastrous first round.
