Google Sky Map for Android is a really great start. I had lots of fun with it on holiday in Cyprus this year (very clear skies).

I’ve (happily for me) seen a rise in dance in our culture thanks to shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars.

Slang that’s used a lot on SYTYCD is “bucc” (some question on the spelling, but lil C says it all the time and it’s caught on).

Insane miles per gallon (equivalent) ratings. In two years we’ve gone from 50 MPG, 134 MPGe, 230 MPGe, 367 MPGe, … The trick is to use a number ridiculously high with real mathematics behind it. It’s controversial but the numbers are going to be everywhere. Awesomebar: 942 miles per gallon* (estimated).

You know I’m generally right on about this stuff. Here are my predictions:
1) The new skinny jean = bell bottoms and wide leg (rave) jeans
2) The new fixed gear bike = walking. Walking clubs complete with ironic NB walking shoes, etc.
3) The new cupcake = TBD
4) The new Brooklyn = TBD
5) The new modular home = TBD

I also forsee an explosion of Harley Davidson riders. Hipsters can’t ride bikes forever.
